Garlapati Ramakrishnacharyulu, popularly known as Tenali Rama and Vikata Kavi, was a court-poet of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 16th century. Tenali Raman was called a vikata kavi. He was one of the Ashtadiggajas of the Vijayanagara court. He was the favourite of King Krishna Devaraya. The 20 stories are packed with fun.
