Overview

The Blood of Olympus is the fifth and last book in Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus mythological series of novels. Summary of the Book Despite their many victories in their quests, the Greek and Roman crewmembers of the Argo II aren’t getting any closer to defeating Gaea, the mother of the earth. Her sons, the Titans, have risen, and they are as unstoppable as ever. Gaea plans to have two demigods sacrificed in Athens on the Feast of Spes. With their blood, the very blood of Olympus, she can fully awaken. The demigods have continuous visions about a horrific battle at Camp Half-Blood. Camp Jupiter’s Roman legion is almost within range to attack it, and Octavian is at the helm of the force. The demigods cannot use the Athena Parthenos, for they know it belongs at Long Island, where it may prevent a war between their two camps. The demigods go east, alone in their battle against Gaea and her forces. The Gods are still useless to them, suffering from multiple personality disorder. At Athens, everything will come to an end. Especially if Gaea awakens. About Rick Riordan Rick Riordan is an American writer. He is best known for his series Tres Navarre and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
